तच्छ्रुत्वा सेवकं श्रेष्ठं प्रेषयामास सत्वरः । जानीहि कस्य राज्ञोऽयमश्वो मम पुरांतिके

tacchrutvā sevakaṃ śreṣṭhaṃ preṣayāmāsa satvaraḥ | jānīhi kasya rājño'yamaśvo mama purāṃtike

Al oírlo, despachó sin demora a su mejor servidor: «Averigua de qué rey es este caballo, ahora junto a mi ciudad».
