En verdad, en un día auspicioso, cualquier dádiva que uno ofrezca—cualquier caridad—se vuelve un millón de veces mayor en su fruto. Ésta es la verdad que yo he declarado.
Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It teaches that timing aligned with dharma—an auspicious, merit-bearing day—greatly amplifies the spiritual fruit of charity, encouraging even small gifts when the day is sacred.
By valuing simple acts of giving on holy occasions, it supports bhakti as practical devotion—offering with faith and purity—where intention and sacred timing enhance the offering’s spiritual efficacy.
It implicitly relies on Jyotiṣa (Vedic calendrics/auspicious timing) to identify puṇya-ahas (holy days), guiding when dana and vrata-related acts yield heightened results.
