Narada (narrating a Tirtha-Mahatmya teaching in Uttara-Bhaga)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches that Maṇikarṇīśvara’s darśana (sacred sight), combined with reverent bowing and proper worship at the kuṇḍa, is a direct cause of liberation—freedom from returning to the womb (rebirth).
Bhakti here is expressed through embodied devotion—darśana, namaskāra (bowing), and arcana (worship). The verse presents sincere devotional acts at a holy site as spiritually transformative and mokṣa-giving.
It highlights ritual practice (kalpa-oriented conduct): visiting a tirtha, approaching the deity in the kuṇḍa precinct, performing namaskāra and arcana correctly—practical guidance aligned with Purāṇic ritual discipline.
