The Account of Mohinī

Narada (instructional narration within Uttara-Bhaga discourse)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: vira
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It frames dharmic action as fundamentally public and divine-oriented—done for devas, prosperity, and the king’s welfare—so the doer should be free from selfish motive and the dishonor that follows it.
By emphasizing action offered beyond self-interest (for devas and the common good), it aligns karma with devotional intent—service performed as an offering rather than as personal gain.
It primarily highlights dharma-śāstra style applied ethics (sadācāra and rāja-dharma) rather than a technical Vedanga; the practical takeaway is motive-purity in ritual/charity and public duties to avoid avamāna (dishonor).
