Śāpaprāpti (Receiving a Curse) — Mohinī Narrative
Narada
Vrata: Harivasa (Ekadashi-related vow context, implied by surrounding narrative)
Primary Rasa: vira
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It highlights uncompromising dharma and surrender to Hari—Rukmāṅgada’s movement toward Viṣṇu signifies that steadfast vow-keeping and devotion culminate in divine refuge.
Bhakti is shown as single-pointed loyalty to Hari even amid severe trials; the gesture of placing the foot on the head indicates humility and complete submission to the divine will.
No specific Vedāṅga technique is taught directly in this verse; the practical takeaway is dharma-śāstra discipline—keeping one’s vrata and duty with unwavering resolve.
