Śāpaprāpti (Receiving a Curse) — Mohinī Narrative
Narada (narrative voice within Uttara-Bhaga; dialogue tradition with Sanatkumara lineage implied)
Vrata: Mohinī Ekādaśī (contextual continuation)
Primary Rasa: shanta (peace)
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It praises unwavering commitment to satya (truth) supported by vrata-based tapas, presenting steadfastness as a primary marker of dharma and inner purity.
By highlighting sustained worship and disciplined observance (kṛcchra), it implies that bhakti is strengthened through consistent practice and ethical integrity, not merely emotion.
The verse points to ritual-discipline practice (vrata/tapas) rather than a specific Vedanga; it most closely aligns with kalpa-style vrata-vidhi (procedural discipline) through the mention of kṛcchra.
