तस्याप्यभावात्सुभगे परदीपप्रबोधनम् । कर्तव्यं भक्तिभावेन सर्वदानाधिकं च तत् ॥ ३५ ॥

Transliteration

tasyāpyabhāvātsubhage paradīpaprabodhanam | kartavyaṃ bhaktibhāvena sarvadānādhikaṃ ca tat || 35 ||

Translation

Oh dama auspiciosa, si ni siquiera eso estuviera disponible, entonces debe encenderse una lámpara para otro (en un templo o lugar sagrado) con actitud de bhakti; en verdad, ese acto es superior a todas las dádivas (dānas).
