स्नेहेनाप्यवमानेन निन्दितेनैति विक्रियाम् तस्मान्न जातु रुष्टस्य नर्मस्पृष्टो जनः किल //

Transliteration

snehenāpyavamānena ninditenaiti vikriyām tasmānna jātu ruṣṭasya narmaspṛṣṭo janaḥ kila //

Translation

Aun la familiaridad afectuosa, cuando se mezcla con el desprecio y la censura, se trueca en deformación y daño. Por ello se dice: jamás se debe hablar a quien está airado con bromas o palabras jocosas.
