प्रार्थयन्नापि नावाप ह्रियमाणो महीपतिः ॥

Transliteration

tato ’tipūreṇa nṛpaḥ sa nadyāḥ preritastaṭam | prārthayannāpi nāvāpa hriyamāṇo mahīpatiḥ ||

Translation

Entonces, impulsado por la gran crecida del río, el rey fue forzado hacia la orilla; aunque suplicó, no halló barca alguna, y el señor de la tierra era arrastrado por las aguas.
