Adhyaya 49 — Cosmic Dissolution
यदा प्रसृष्टा ओषध्यो न प्ररोहन्ति ताः पुनः ।
ततः स तासां वृद्ध्यर्थं वार्तोपायञ्चकार ह ॥
yadā prasṛṣṭā oṣadhyo na prarohanti tāḥ punaḥ | tataḥ sa tāsāṃ vṛddhyarthaṃ vārtopāyaṃ cakāra ha ||
Cuando las plantas ya producidas dejaron de brotar de nuevo, entonces él ideó un medio de sustento (vārttā) para su incremento.
