Adhyaya 31 — Naimittika and Related Śrāddha Rites: Sapiṇḍīkaraṇa, Eligibility, Timing, and Procedure
पितरस्तु तयोर् मासं तस्मिन् रेतसि शेरते ।
गत्वा च योषितं श्राद्धे यो भुङ्क्ते यश्च गच्छति ॥
pitarastu tayormāsaṃ tasmin retasi śerate | gatvā ca yoṣitaṃ śrāddhe yo bhuṅkte yaśca gacchati ||
Los antepasados de esos dos (el hombre y la mujer) yacen durante un mes en ese semen. Y respecto del śrāddha: quien va a una mujer (para el acto sexual), quien come (después) y quien se marcha (en tal estado) quedan implicados (como se aclarará en el verso siguiente).
