ततः पपात मेदिन्यां स तु मूर्च्छापरिप्लुतः ।
हा प्रियेत्य् वदन् सोऽथ चिन्तयामास भामिनीम् ॥
tataḥ papāta medinyāṃ sa tu mūrcchāpariplutaḥ |
hā priyeti vadan so ’tha cintayāmāsa bhāminīm ||
Entonces cayó al suelo, vencido por el desvanecimiento. Gritando «¡Ah, amada!», comenzó a consumirse pensando en aquella mujer ardiente de pasión.
