Virāṭa-parva, Adhyāya 67
The chapter-colophon highlights a moral arc: unjust aggression (here, the cattle-raid) culminates in humiliation and retreat. It implies that adharma-driven pride is unstable, while disciplined resolve aligned with dharma can overturn apparent power.
This is a concluding colophon stating that the sixty-sixth chapter of the Virāṭa Parva’s cattle-raid episode has ended, and its main subject was the flight of the Kauravas.
