पाण्डवपरिचयः—विराटसभायां प्रकाशनम्

भीष्मस्य संज्ञां तु तथैव मन्ये जानाति सो<स्त्रप्रतिघातमेष: । एतस्य वाहान् कुरु सव्यतस्त्व- मेवं हि यातव्यममूढसंज्ञै:
bhīṣmasya saṃjñāṃ tu tathaiva manye jānāti so 'strapratighātam eṣaḥ | etasya vāhān kuru savyataḥ tvam evaṃ hi yātavyam amūḍhasaṃjñaiḥ ||
Dijo Vaiśampāyana: «Creo que Bhīṣma, el venerable abuelo, ha recobrado plenamente la conciencia, pues conoce el modo de contrarrestar esta arma de ilusión. Al pasar, deja sus caballos a tu izquierda; porque cuando es preciso acercarse a héroes cuya mente no se ha nublado, así es como debe hacerse».
