Adhyāya 61: Saṃmohana-astra and the Kuru Withdrawal (संमोहनास्त्रं तथा कुरुनिवृत्तिः)
तस्य जिष्णुरुपावृत्य पृथुधारेण कार्मुकम् | चकर्त गार्ध्रपत्रेण जातरूपपरिष्कृतम्,तब अर्जुन उसकी ओर मुड़े और मोटी धार और गीधकी पाँख-जैसे पंखवाले बाणसे उन्होंने दुःशासनके सुवर्णजटित धनुषको काट डाला
tasya jiṣṇur upāvṛtya pṛthudhāreṇa kārmukam | cakarta gārdhrapatreṇa jātarūpa-pariṣkṛtam ||
Dijo Vaiśampāyana: Volviéndose hacia él, Jiṣṇu (Arjuna) cercenó aquel arco—adornado con oro—con una flecha de filo ancho, emplumada como ala de buitre.
