Adhyāya 6: Kaṅka (Yudhiṣṭhira) Seeks Refuge in Virāṭa’s Assembly
भविष्यत्यचिरादेव संग्रामे विजयस्तव । मम प्रसादान्निर्जित्य हत्वा कौरववाहिनीम्,देवी बोली--महाबाहु राजा युधिष्ठिर! मेरी बात सुनो। समर्थ राजन! शीघ्र ही तुम्हें संग्राममें विजय प्राप्त होगी। मेरे प्रसादसे कौरवसेनाको जीतकर उसका संहार करके तुम निष्कण्टक राज्य करोगे और पुन: इस पृथ्वीका सुख भोगोगे। राजन! तुम्हें भाइयोंसहित पूर्ण प्रसन्नता प्राप्त होगी
bhaviṣyaty acirād eva saṅgrāme vijayas tava | mama prasādān nirjitya hatvā kaurava-vāhinīm ||
Dijo Vaiśampāyana: «Muy pronto la victoria en la batalla será tuya. Por mi gracia, tras vencer y destruir al ejército de los Kaurava, gobernarás un reino sin espinas (libre de enemigos y obstáculos) y volverás a gozar de la dicha de esta tierra. Oh rey, junto con tus hermanos alcanzarás una alegría plena.»
