स च्छिन्नधनुरादाय रथशरक्ति प्रतापवान् । प्राहिणोत् पाण्डुपुत्राय प्रदीप्तामशनीमिव,इस तरह धनुष कट जानेपर प्रतापी कृपाचार्यने पाण्डुपुत्र अर्जुनपर वज्रकी भाँति प्रज्वलित रथशक्ति चलायी
sa cchinnadhanur ādāya rathaśaktiṁ pratāpavān | prāhiṇot pāṇḍuputrāya pradīptām aśanīm iva ||
