द्रोण-पार्थ-युद्धम्

निरुष्य हि वने वासं कृत्वा कर्मातिमानुषम् । अभिवादयते पार्थ: श्रोत्रे च परिपृच्छति,कुन्तीनन्दन अर्जुन वनमें रहकर वहाँ तपस्या तथा शौर्यद्वारा अतिमानुष (मानवी शक्तिके बाहरका) पराक्रम करके आज प्रकट हुए हैं। ये प्रथम दो बाणोंद्वारा मुझे प्रणाम कर रहे हैं और दूसरे दो बाणोंद्वारा कानोंमें युद्धके लिये आज्ञा माँगते हैं
niruṣya hi vane vāsaṁ kṛtvā karmātimānuṣam | abhivādayate pārthaḥ śrotre ca paripṛcchati ||
Drona dijo: «Habiéndose contenido y vivido en el bosque, realizando hazañas más allá de la medida humana, Pārtha (Arjuna), hijo de Kuntī, se ha revelado ahora. Con sus dos primeras flechas me rinde salutación; y con las otras dos, como si fuera, me pide permiso en mis propios oídos para entrar en batalla.»
