अध्याय ५०: उत्तरेण सह अर्जुनस्य रथप्रयाणे ध्वजचिह्नैः कौरवसेनानिर्देशः

Arjuna directs Uttara by identifying Kaurava commanders through banners

तथैव कतमद्‌ युद्ध यस्मिन्‌ कृष्णा जिता त्वया । एकवस्त्रा सभां नीता दुष्टकर्मन्‌ रजस्वला,दुष्ट कर्म करनेवाले पापी! बताओ तो, कौन-सा ऐसा युद्ध हुआ था, जिसमें तुमने द्रौपदीको जीत लिया हो? तुमलोग तो अकारण ही एक वस्त्र धारण करनेवाली बेचारी द्रौपदीको रजस्वलावस्थामें राजसभाके भीतर घसीट लाये थे

tathaiva katamad yuddhaṃ yasmin kṛṣṇā jitā tvayā | ekavastrā sabhāṃ nītā duṣṭakarman rajovalā ||

Dijo Kṛpa: «Dime entonces: ¿qué batalla fue aquella en la que afirmas haber “vencido” a Kṛṣṇā (Draupadī)? ¡Malhechor! Antes bien, arrastrasteis al salón real a una mujer indefensa, vestida con una sola prenda, y además en pleno tiempo de su menstruación».

Kṛpa exposes the moral emptiness of claiming ‘victory’ over Draupadī: true valor is proven in righteous battle, not by humiliating a vulnerable woman in an assembly. The verse condemns adharma, especially the violation of a woman’s dignity and the abuse of power.

In Virāṭa Parva, Kṛpa speaks critically to the Kaurava side, recalling the earlier outrage in the Kuru court: Draupadī was dragged into the sabhā while in a vulnerable condition. He challenges the boast that she was ‘won’ and frames it as a shameful act rather than a legitimate conquest.
