इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत विराटपर्वके अन्तर्गत गोहरणपर्वमें उत्तरगोग्रहके समय कर्णके आत्मप्रशंसापूर्ण वचनसम्बन्धी अड़तालीसवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ

Transliteration

iti prakāraṁ śrīmahābhārate virāṭaparvake antargata-goharaṇaparvaṇi uttaragograha-samaye karṇasya ātmapraśaṁsā-pūrṇa-vacana-sambandhī aṣṭacatvāriṁśattamo 'dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ

Translation

Así concluye el capítulo cuadragésimo octavo de la sección Goharaṇa, dentro del Virāṭa Parva del Śrī Mahābhārata, relativo al discurso autoelogioso de Karṇa pronunciado en el momento del saqueo de los ganados del norte.
