Dhaumya’s Counsel on Incognito Conduct in a Royal Household (राजवसतौ आचरण-निति)

अमानितैरमननितैर्वा अज्ञातै: परिवत्सरम्‌ ततश्नतुर्दशे वर्षे चरिष्पथ यथासुखम्‌,वहाँ तुम्हारा अपमान हो या सम्मान, सब कुछ सहकर एक वर्षतक अज्ञातभावसे रहना चाहिये। तदनन्तर चौदहवें वर्षमें तुमलोग अपनी इच्छाके अनुसार सुखपूर्वक विचरण कर सकोगे

Transliteration

amānitair amanitair vā ajñātaiḥ parivatsaram | tataś caturdaśe varṣe cariṣyatha yathāsukham ||

Translation

Dhaumya dijo: «Ya recibáis deshonra o recibáis honra, soportadlo todo y permaneced un año entero ocultos, desconocidos para los demás. Después, en el decimocuarto año, podréis andar libres y dichosos, según vuestra propia voluntad».
