Vaiśampāyana dijo: Entonces el rey Duryodhana, aceptando aquel consejo de Karṇa—hijo del auriga—emitió él mismo una orden inmediata.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights how a ruler’s choice of whose counsel to accept shapes outcomes: Duryodhana treats Karṇa’s words as decisive and acts at once, illustrating leadership driven by alliance and resolve rather than restraint or reconciliation.
After hearing Karṇa’s counsel, Duryodhana immediately issues orders to set actions in motion—beginning rapid preparations that advance the Kauravas’ next move in the Virāṭa episode.
