Virāṭa-parva Adhyāya 13 — Kīcaka’s Proposition and Draupadī’s Dharmic Refusal
एवं ते न्यवसंस्तत्र प्रच्छन्ना: पुरुषर्षभा: । कर्माणि तस्य कुर्वाणा विराटनृपतेस्तदा,इस प्रकार वे पुरुषशिरोमणि पाण्डव उस समय राजा विराटके भिन्न-भिन्न कार्य सँभालते हुए वहाँ छिपकर रहते थे
evaṁ te nyavasan tatra pracchannāḥ puruṣarṣabhāḥ | karmāṇi tasya kurvāṇā virāṭanṛpates tadā ||
Dijo Vaiśampāyana: Así, aquellos hombres, fuertes como toros—los Pāṇḍavas, los más eminentes entre los mortales—vivieron allí ocultos, y en aquel tiempo cumplieron las diversas obligaciones y tareas del rey Virāṭa.
