प्रेषयामास रामस्य राम॑ पुत्र पुरस्कृतम् । स तमभ्यागतं दृष्टवा उद्यतास्त्रमवस्थितम्
preṣayāmāsa rāmasya rāmaḥ putra-puraskṛtam | sa tam abhyāgataṃ dṛṣṭvā udyatāstram avasthitam ||
Dijo Lomaśa: Rāma envió a su hijo al frente como emisario. Al verlo llegar y permanecer en pie, presto, con el arma alzada, la otra parte contempló a un joven que no venía sólo con palabras, sino con la resolución y la vigilancia propias de un guerrero.
