Educational Q&A

Steady service and willingness to perform humble duties—such as carrying fuel for the household—cultivate discipline and inner strength; such conduct itself becomes a source of honorable identity.

The speaker describes how the boy, living in his father’s home, regularly carried heavy loads of firewood from an early age, and thus came to be प्रसिद्ध (well known) by the descriptive name ‘Idhmavāha’—the fuel-bearer.
