ये च वेदविदो विप्रा ये चाध्यात्मविदो जना: । ते वदन्ति महात्मानं कृष्णं धर्म सनातनम्
ye ca vedavido viprā ye cādhyātmavido janāḥ | te vadanti mahātmānaṃ kṛṣṇaṃ dharma sanātanam ||
Dijo Dhaumya: «Tanto los brahmanes versados en los Vedas como quienes conocen el Ser proclaman que Krishna es un gran espíritu; más aún, la encarnación del Dharma eterno».
