यत्र सिद्धि परां प्राप्तो विश्वामित्रो5$थ कौशिक: । तत्र मासं वसेद्‌ वीर कौशिक्यां भरतर्षभ,राजेन्द्र! तत्पश्चात्‌ कौशिक मुनिके कुण्डमें स्नानके लिये जाय, जहाँ कुशिकनन्दन विश्वामित्रने उत्तम सिद्धि प्राप्त की थी। वीर! भरतकुलभूषण! उस तीर्थमें कौशिकी नदीके तटपर एक मासतक निवास करे

Transliteration

yatra siddhiṁ parāṁ prāpto viśvāmitro ’tha kauśikaḥ | tatra māsaṁ vased vīra kauśikyāṁ bharatarṣabha rājendra |

Translation

Ghūlastya dijo: «Oh rey heroico, toro entre los Bharata: en el mismo lugar donde Viśvāmitra, hijo de Kuśika, alcanzó la suprema perfección espiritual, debes morar un mes a la orilla del Kauśikī. Esta estancia disciplinada en el vado sagrado se prescribe como medio de purificación y mérito, siguiendo el ejemplo de la perfección lograda por el sabio.»
