युधिष्ठिरस्य अर्जुनप्रेषण-युक्तिवर्णनम् | Yudhiṣṭhira’s Rationale for Sending Arjuna and Request to Dhaumya
मनो: प्रजापतेलोंकानाप्रोति पुरुषर्षभ । कन्यायां ये प्रयच्छन्ति दानमण्वपि भारत
manoḥ prajāpate lokān āpnoti puruṣarṣabha | kanyāyāṁ ye prayacchanti dānam aṇv api bhārata ||
Dijo Ghūlastya: «Oh toro entre los hombres, quienquiera que entregue a una doncella incluso el más pequeño don alcanza los mundos de Manu, Señor de las criaturas. Oh Bhārata, tal dádiva—por mínima que sea—produce gran mérito.»
