Nala’s Reception and Reconciliation
विमुच्य मां गत: पापस्ततो5हमिह चागत: । त्वदर्थ विपुलश्रोणि न हि मेडन्यत् प्रयोजनम्,'सुन्दरी! पापी कलियुग मुझे छोड़कर चला गया, इसीसे मैं तुम्हारी प्राप्तिका उद्देश्य लेकर यहाँ आया हूँ। इसके सिवा, मेरे आगमनका दूसरा कोई प्रयोजन नहीं है
vimucya māṁ gataḥ pāpastato ’ham iha cāgataḥ | tvadarthaṁ vipulaśroṇi na hi me ’d anyat prayojanam ||
Dijo Bṛhadaśva: «Ese pecador, tras soltarme, se ha marchado; por eso he venido aquí. Oh hermosa de anchas caderas, he venido sólo por ti: no hay otro propósito en mi llegada».
