Damayantī’s Recognition by the Piplū Mark and Her Return to Vidarbha
तिष्ठ त्वं स्थावर इव यावदेव नलः क्वचित् । इतो नेता हि तत्र त्वं शापान्मोक्ष्यसि मत्कृतात्
tiṣṭha tvaṃ sthāvara iva yāvadeva nalaḥ kvacit | ito netā hi tatra tvaṃ śāpān mokṣyasi matkṛtāt ||
Dijo Bṛhadaśva: «Permanece aquí, inmóvil como un árbol, hasta que Nala llegue a este lugar. Desde aquí lo guiarás hacia adelante; y al hacerlo, quedarás libre de la maldición que yo mismo puse sobre ti».
