दमयन्त्याः कार्यनिश्चयः — Damayantī’s Crisis Plan and Vārṣṇeya’s Departure
नैषधाय ददौ शक्र: प्रीयमाण: शचीपति: । शचीपति इन्द्रने प्रसन्न होकर निषधराज नलको यह वर दिया कि “मैं यज्ञमें तुम्हें प्रत्यक्ष दर्शन दूँगा और अन्तमें सर्वोत्तम शुभ गति प्रदान करूँगा”
naiṣadhāya dadau śakraḥ prīyamāṇaḥ śacīpatiḥ |
Dijo Bṛhadaśva: Complacido de corazón, Śakra—Indra, señor de Śacī—concedió este don a Naiṣadha (el rey Nala): «En tu sacrificio me manifestaré ante ti de manera directa, y al final te otorgaré el más alto destino auspicioso».
