Vidura–Dhṛtarāṣṭra Dialogue on Rajadharma and Restitution
तत्र ते न्यवसन् वीरा वने बहुमृगद्धिजे । अन्वास्यमाना मुनिश्रि: सान्त्व्यमानाश्न भारत,भारत! उस वनमें बहुत-से पशु-पक्षी निवास करते थे। वहाँ मुनियोंने उन्हें बिठाया और बहुत सान्त्वना दी। फिर वे वीर पाण्डव वहीं रहने लगे
tatra te nyavasan vīrā vane bahu-mṛga-dvije | anvāsyamānā muni-śriyaḥ sāntvyamānāś ca bhārata ||
Allí, aquellos héroes se establecieron en un bosque abundante en muchas clases de bestias y aves, oh Bhārata. Sentados y atendidos por venerables sabios, y consolados con palabras de aliento, los valientes Pāṇḍavas comenzaron a morar en aquella arboleda.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Even in adversity, dharma is sustained through the support of the wise: the sages’ presence and consolation model how spiritual counsel and compassionate speech help the righteous endure hardship without losing moral steadiness.
After entering the forest during exile, the Pāṇḍavas settle in a woodland abundant with animals and birds. Sages seat them, attend to them, and offer comfort; thus the brothers begin their forest residence under ascetic guidance.
