Nala-Upākhyāna Begins
दुःशासनस्य ता वाच: श्रुत्वा ते दारुणोदया: । कर्णस्य च महाराज जुगुप्सन्तीति मे मति:,महातेजस्वी वे पाण्डव अपनी धर्मपत्नी यशस्विनी कृष्णाको सभामें लायी गयी देखकर क्रोधसे भरे हुए हैं और महाराज! दुःशासन तथा कर्णकी वे कठोर बातें सुनकर पाण्डव आपलोगोंकी निन्दा करते हैं, ऐसा मुझे विश्वास है
sañjaya uvāca | duḥśāsanasya tā vācaḥ śrutvā te dāruṇodayāḥ | karṇasya ca mahārāja jugupsantīti me matiḥ ||
Dijo Sañjaya: Oh gran rey, al oír aquellas palabras crueles de Duḥśāsana—y también de Karṇa—los Pāṇḍavas, con la ira ya encendida, sentirán repugnancia y os condenarán a todos; tal es mi convicción.
संजय उवाच
Cruel speech and public humiliation are forms of adharma that provoke moral revulsion and righteous anger; such violations of ethical restraint corrode legitimacy and become direct causes for escalating conflict.
Sanjaya reports to King Dhritarashtra that the Pandavas, after hearing the harsh, abusive words spoken by Duhshasana and Karna, are intensely stirred and inwardly condemn the Kaurava side for this conduct.
