व्यतिक्रमं मे भगवन् क्षन्तुमहसि शंकर । भगवन् दर्शनाकाडुक्षी प्राप्तोडस्मीम॑ं महागिरिम्,कल्याणकारी भगवन्! मेरा अपराध क्षमा कीजिये। भगवन्! मैं आपहीके दर्शनकी इच्छा लेकर इस महान् पर्वतपर आया हूँ
vyatikramaṁ me bhagavan kṣantum arhasi śaṅkara | bhagavan darśanākāṅkṣī prāpto 'smi imaṁ mahāgirim ||
Arjuna dijo: «Oh Señor bienaventurado Śaṅkara, perdona mi falta. Oh Señor, anhelando tu visión divina, he venido a esta gran montaña».
