युधिछिर उवाच देवदेवो मया दृष्टो भवान् साक्षात् सनातन: । य॑ं ददासि वर तुष्टस्तं ग्रहीष्याम्यहं पित:,युधिषछ्टिर बोले--पिताजी! आप सनातन देवाधिदेव हैं। आज मुझे साक्षात् आपके दर्शन हो गये। आप प्रसन्न होकर मुझे जो भी वर देंगे, उसे मैं शिरोधार्य करूँगा
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca devadevo mayā dṛṣṭo bhavān sākṣāt sanātanaḥ | yaṁ dadāsi vara tuṣṭas taṁ grahīṣyāmy ahaṁ pitaḥ ||
Dijo Yudhiṣṭhira: «¡Oh Padre! Te he contemplado directamente: el Eterno, Dios de los dioses. Cualquier don que, complacido, decidas concederme, lo aceptaré con reverencia».
