यद्येवैष्यति सायाह्वे यदि प्रातरथो निशि । यद्यर्थरात्रे भगवान् न मे कोपं करिष्यति,ये पूजनीय ब्राह्मण यदि सायंकाल आवें, प्रातःकाल पधारें अथवा रात या आधीरातमें भी दर्शन दें, ये कभी भी मेरे मनमें क्रोध उत्पन्न नहीं कर सकेंगे--मैं हर समय इनकी समुचित सेवाके लिये प्रस्तुत रहूँगी
yadyaivaiṣyati sāyāhve yadi prātaratho niśi | yadyartharātre bhagavān na me kopaṃ kariṣyati ||
Dijo Vaiśampāyana: «Ya venga al atardecer, ya por la mañana, o incluso en la noche; aunque el venerable llegue a medianoche, no despertará ira en mí. En todo momento estaré dispuesto a rendir el debido servicio al brāhmaṇa digno de honor».
