ऋषय ऊचु: निमज्जमानं व्यसनैरभिद्रुतं कुल नरेन्द्रस्य तमोमये हृदे । त्वया सुशीलब्रतपुण्यया कुलं समुद्धृतं साध्वि पुन: कुलीनया,ऋषि बोले--पतिव्रते! राजा द्युमत्सेनका कुल भाँति-भाँतिकी विपत्तियोंसे ग्रस्त होकर दुःखके अंधकारमय गढ़ेमें डूबा जा रहा था; परंतु तुझ-जैसी सुशीला, व्रतपरायणा और पवित्र आचरणवाली कुलीन वधूने आकर इसका उद्धार कर दिया
ṛṣaya ūcuḥ: nimajjamānaṃ vyasanair abhidrutaṃ kula-narendrasya tamo-maye hṛde | tvayā suśīla-vrata-puṇyayā kulaṃ samuddhṛtaṃ sādhvi punaḥ kulīnayā ||
Los sabios dijeron: «¡Oh dama casta y virtuosa! Cuando el linaje del rey de esta estirpe, Dyumatsena, era azotado por muchas calamidades y se hundía en un foso de tinieblas y aflicción, tú —de noble cuna, de conducta apacible, firme en tus votos y pura en mérito— levantaste de nuevo a la familia y la restauraste».
