Ajñātavāsa-saṅkalpaḥ — Yudhiṣṭhira’s Resolve and Dhaumya’s Exempla on Concealment
सत्यवानुवाच वन॑ प्रतिभयाकारं घनेन तमसा55वृतम् । न विज्ञास्यसि पन्थानं गन्तुं चैव न शक्ष्यसि,सत्यवान् बोले--प्रिये! यह वन गाढ अंधकारसे आच्छादित होकर अत्यन्त भयंकर दिखायी दे रहा है। इस समय न तो तुम्हें रास्ता सूझेगा और न तुम चल ही सकोगी
satyavān uvāca | vanaṁ pratibhayākāraṁ ghanena tamasāvṛtam | na vijñāsyasi panthānaṁ gantuṁ caiva na śakṣyasi ||
Dijo Satyavān: «Amada, este bosque se muestra verdaderamente aterrador, envuelto en una densa oscuridad. En un momento así no podrás distinguir el sendero, ni podrás avanzar».
