सौद्दात्‌ सर्वभूतानां विश्वासो नाम जायते । तस्मात्‌ सत्सु विशेषेण विश्वासं कुरुते जन:,सौहार्दसे ही समस्त प्राणियोंका एक-दूसरेके प्रति विश्वास उत्पन्न होता है। संतोंमें सौहार्द होनेके कारण ही सब लोग उनपर अधिक विश्वास करते हैं

Transliteration

sauddāt sarvabhūtānāṃ viśvāso nāma jāyate | tasmāt satsu viśeṣeṇa viśvāsaṃ kurute janaḥ ||

Translation

De la buena voluntad y la cordialidad nace lo que se llama confianza entre todos los seres vivos. Por eso la gente deposita su confianza—de manera especial y más firme—en los virtuosos, porque en ellos habitan la armonía y la benevolencia.
