इुमत्सेन उवाच
The verse highlights dharmic propriety in kanyādāna: the bride is given with due honor and necessary provisions, and the giver experiences rightful satisfaction from completing a social and moral duty.
King Aśvapati performs the formal giving of the maiden in marriage along with appropriate gifts, then—rejoicing—returns to his own palace, indicating the successful conclusion of the marriage arrangement.
