इत्युक्त: स तथेत्युक्त्वा रथमास्थाय दंशित: । प्रययाविन्द्रजिद् राजंस्तूर्णमायोधनं प्रति,राजन! रावणके द्वारा ऐसी आज्ञा देनेपर इन्द्रजितने “बहुत अच्छा” कहकर पिताकी आज्ञा स्वीकार की और वह कवच बाँध रथपर बैठकर तुरंत ही संग्रामभूमिकी ओर चल दिया
ity uktaḥ sa tathety uktvā ratham āsthāya daṁśitaḥ | prayayāv indrajid rājan tūrṇam āyodhanaṁ prati ||
Dijo Mārkaṇḍeya: Así interpelado, respondió: «Así sea», aceptó la orden, se ciñó la armadura, subió a su carro y—oh rey—Indrajit partió con presteza hacia el campo de batalla.
