Kuntī’s Regulated Hospitality to a Brāhmaṇa Guest
तेडभिपत्य पुरं भग्ना हतशेषा निशाचरा: । सर्व राज्ञे यथावृत्तं रावणाय न्यवेदयन्,मरनेसे बचे हुए उन निशाचरोंने भग्नमनोरथ होकर लड्कापुरीमें प्रवेश किया तथा रावणके समीप जाकर युद्धका सब समाचार ज्यों-का-त्यों निवेदन कर दिया
teḍabhipatya puraṁ bhagnā hataśeṣā niśācarāḥ | sarvaṁ rājñe yathāvṛttaṁ rāvaṇāya nyavedayan |
Entonces los rākṣasas, errantes de la noche—quebrados de espíritu y reducidos a un mero remanente—se precipitaron de vuelta a la ciudad. Al acercarse a Rāvaṇa, informaron al rey, tal como había sucedido, el relato completo de la batalla.
