Karṇa–Sūrya Saṃvāda: Satya, Dāna, and the Amoghā Śakti (कर्ण–सूर्यसंवादः)
रामस्तु शरजालानि ववर्ष जलदो यथा । तानि लड़्कां समासाद्य जघ्नुस्तान् रजनीचरान्,उधर श्रीरामचन्द्रजी भी, जैसे बादल जल बरसाते हैं, उसी प्रकार बाणसमूहोंकी वर्षा करने लगे और वे बाण लंकामें घुसकर वहाँ खड़े हुए निशाचरोंके प्राण लेने लगे
rāmas tu śarajālāni vavarṣa jalado yathā | tāni laṅkāṃ samāsādya jaghnus tān rajanīcarān ||
Dijo Mārkaṇḍeya: Rāma comenzó a descargar andanadas de flechas, como nube de lluvia que vierte el agua. Al llegar a Laṅkā, aquellas flechas abatieron a los rākṣasas que vagan en la noche y que allí estaban en pie, arrebatándoles la vida.
