व्यसनं भवतश्चैदं संक्षेपाद्‌ वै निवेदितम्‌ । “सम्पाति जब इस तरहकी बातें कर रहा था, उस समय हमलोगोंने बताया कि जटायु मारे गये। साथ ही हमने संक्षेपसे आपके ऊपर आये हुए इस संकटका समाचार भी निवेदन कर दिया

Transliteration

vyasanaṃ bhavataś caidaṃ saṃkṣepād vai niveditam |

Translation

Dijo Mārkaṇḍeya: «Esta calamidad que os ha sobrevenido ya ha sido comunicada—en verdad, de manera breve. Mientras Sampāti hablaba así, le informamos de que Jaṭāyu había sido muerto, y también le transmitimos, sucintamente, la noticia de la crisis que había caído sobre vosotros».
