Sāvitrī’s Report and Nārada’s Prognosis (सावित्र्याख्यान—सत्यवान्-गुणवर्णनं तथा अल्पायुषः पूर्वसूचना)
स निश्चित्य ततः कृत्यं स्वसारमुपसान्त्व्य च | ऊर्ध्वमाचक्रमे राजा विधाय नगरे विधिम्,यह सुनकर रावणने अपने कर्तव्यका निश्चय किया और अपनी बहिनको सान्त्वना देकर नगर आदिकी रक्षाका प्रबन्ध करके वह आकाशमार्गसे उड़ चला
sa niścitya tataḥ kṛtyaṃ svasāram upasāntvya ca | ūrdhvam ācakrame rājā vidhāya nagare vidhim ||
Así, tras decidir la acción que había de emprender, el rey consoló a su hermana; y, después de disponer las normas y defensas necesarias en la ciudad, partió hacia lo alto, tomando la ruta aérea.
