Dvaītavana: Brahmaghoṣa, Rṣi-saṅgha, and Baka Dālbhyā’s Upadeśa to Yudhiṣṭhira
The verse highlights a moral failure: the absence of remorse and compassion in a wrongdoer. It contrasts dharmic sensitivity to others’ suffering with the adharma of cruelty and indifference.
Draupadī laments that Duryodhana, Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s son, feels no sorrow for the Pandavas’ and her suffering. Her words underscore his pitiless disposition and intensify the ethical indictment against him.
