जयद्रथ-निग्रहः — Jayadratha Restrained, Shamed, and Released
राजसूयं पाण्डवस्य दृष्टवा क्रतुवरं महत् । मम स्पृहा समुत्पन्ना तां सम्पादय सूतज,सूतनन्दन! “पाण्घुपुत्र युधिष्ठिरके उस क्रतुश्रेष्ठ महान् राजसूययज्ञको देखकर मेरे मनमें भी उसे करनेकी इच्छा जाग उठी है। तुम इस इच्छाको पूर्ण करो'
rājasūyaṁ pāṇḍavasya dṛṣṭvā kratuvaraṁ mahat | mama spṛhā samutpannā tāṁ sampādaya sūtaja, sūtanandana ||
Vaiśampāyana dijo: «Al contemplar el gran y supremo sacrificio—el Rājasūya del Pāṇḍava—también en mi corazón ha nacido el deseo. Oh hijo de un sūta, oh deleite del linaje de los aurigas, cumple este anhelo mío».
