जयद्रथविमोचन–पलायनवृत्तान्तः

Recovery of Draupadī and Jayadratha’s flight

भगदत्तं च निर्जित्य राधेयो गिरिमारुहत्‌ । हिमवन्तं महाशैलं युध्यमानश्व शत्रुभि:,तत्पश्चात्‌ उसने उत्तर दिशामें जाकर वहाँके राजाओंको अपने वशमें कर लिया। भगदत्तको जीतकर राधानन्दन कर्ण शत्रुओंसे युद्ध करता हुआ महान्‌ पर्वत हिमालयपर आरूढ़ हुआ। वहाँसे सब दिशाओंमें जाकर उसने समस्त राजाओंको अपने अधीन किया और हिमालयप्रदेशके समस्त भूपालोंको जीतकर उनसे कर लिया

bhagadattaṃ ca nirjitya rādheyo girim āruhat | himavantaṃ mahāśailaṃ yudhyamānaś ca śatrubhiḥ |

Vaiśaṃpāyana dijo: Tras conquistar a Bhagadatta, Rādheya (Karṇa) ascendió la montaña. Combatiendo contra sus enemigos, alcanzó el gran macizo de Himavān (el Himalaya). Desde allí recorrió las regiones y puso a los reyes bajo su dominio.
