Draupadī’s Identification of the Pāṇḍavas and the Onset of the Chariot Engagement (द्रौपदी-पाण्डव-परिचयः)
तस्माद हूं क्षमं मन्ये पाण्डवैस्तैर्महात्मभि: । संधिं संधिविदां श्रेष्ठ कुलस्यास्य विवृद्धये,“अतः संधिवेत्ताओंमें श्रेष्ठ नरेश! मैं तो इस कुलके अभ्युदयके लिये उन महात्मा पाण्डवोंके साथ संधि कर लेना ही उचित समझता हूँ
tasmād hi kṣamaṃ manye pāṇḍavaiḥ tair mahātmabhiḥ | sandhiṃ sandhividāṃ śreṣṭha kulasyāsya vivṛddhaye ||
«Por ello, oh el mejor entre los diestros en alianzas, juzgo conveniente sellar un pacto con esos Pāṇḍavas de gran alma, para la prosperidad y el fortalecimiento de este linaje.»
