तथेति च प्रतिश्रुत्य सा कृत्या प्रययौ तदा । निमेषादगमच्चापि यत्र राजा सुयोधन:,“जो आज्ञा" कहकर वह कृत्या तत्काल वहाँसे प्रस्थित हुई और पलक मारते-मारते जहाँ राजा दुर्योधन था, वहाँ पहुँच गयी
tatheti ca pratiśrutya sā kṛtyā prayayau tadā | nimeṣād agamac cāpi yatra rājā suyodhanaḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana dijo: Tras asentir con las palabras «Así sea», aquella kṛtyā partió al instante. En menos tiempo que un parpadeo llegó al lugar donde estaba el rey Suyodhana (Duryodhana).
